Daniela Treija is a Latvian art director and designer who began her professional career in 2015, after graduating with distinction from Design Academy Eindhoven. Since then, she has been working with versatility between art direction, concept, visual &#38;amp; brand identity, as well as spatial and exhibition design.


Her past clients derive from the fields of culture and contemporary art, fashion, sports and global tech. Daniela finds her contentment in working on culturally relevant, visually distinctive, concept-based projects that observe our contemporary ways of being and challenge the status quo.

An unfiltered look at the positive impact of football on local communities, underlining the power of the world’s most popular sport to transform society into a level playing field for all. 
From New York to Monterrey to Kathmandu, together with adidas Football, Common Goal and the accomplished photographer Sarah Van Rij, we set out to capture the joy of football as it is democratically practised around the world – highlighting the work of various local organisations and how they use football as a tool to promote integration.

Our next chapter with adidas Football x Common Goal took us to Santa Marta, Colombia. Teaming up with fashion and sports photographer Lukas Korschan, we told the story of Tiempo de Juego — an inspiring organisation creating safe spaces for young people to find their voice, build confidence, and spark change in others.

The Annual Art Award of Latvia (LMGB) is the highest national award in the field of art and emphasises&#38;nbsp;collaboration as the foundation of the creative process. This also served as the core concept for its visual identity, reflecting the creation of art as an interwoven collection of experiences.&#38;nbsp;
The award logo is inspired by the tradition of monograms, with the symbol incorporating both the flow of the creative process and its non-linear movement, while simultaneously highlighting the continuity of the process. The monogram is constructed using the award’s initials — LMGB — which are intertwined into a single, flowing element. Its organic structure allows the logo to be adapted to various formats, thereby continuing the idea of versatility and dynamism.

On the occasion of the Women’s Euro 2025 championships, adidas invited us to build on the momentum surrounding the tournament. With art as the cornerstone behind each adidas 2025 federation kit, we set out to showcase the jerseys within the context of the Three Stripes Gallery through a Gen Z–coded lifestyle campaign. The concept reimagined familiar gallery scenarios as an adidas federation kits lookbook and was brought to life through the lens of acclaimed fashion photographer Lukas Wassmann.

Following the principles of honesty and restraint, the visual language of the community café Open House is pared back and timeless, utilising a bold, singular brand red inspired by the vernacular design of everyday community spaces.
 

Elevating the ordinary, the brand’s identity guided the café’s spirit of being an uncomplicated, albeit tasteful neighbourhood spot, guided by a commitment to quality. On weekend nights, OPEN HOUSE transformed into Bottle Shop, its natural wine extension, where guests could buy and enjoy bottles after-hours. Bottle Shop's identity serves as an extension of OPEN HOUSE’s visual language into a playful, evening expression.


 Highlighting slick contrast as a central theme to the spatial concept, the design pairs cool stainless steel against the warmth of a semi-matte red floor. The pigment Ochsenblut (oxblood) has a strong association with Berlin apartment buildings, initially chosen for its practicality and cost-effectiveness, and now intrinsically linked with the identity of the city. This weaving of industrial and domestic elements shapes a space that feels both familiar and refined.
