An unfiltered look at the positive impact of football on local communities, underlining the power of the world’s most popular sport to transform society into a level playing field for all.
From New York to Monterrey to Kathmandu, together with adidas Football, Common Goal and the accomplished photographer Sarah Van Rij, we set out to capture the joy of football as it is democratically practised around the world – highlighting the work of various local organisations and how they are using football as a tool to promote integration.
